This is our next step up in size for an Overland Vehicle and our “Cool Ride” to support a retired lifestyle. For the last 10 years we’ve wandered the country in a Jeep Wrangler towing a Horizon Adventure Trailer with roof top tent on trips made within the limits of 2 week vacations. Our concept was assembled from ideas found at past Overland Expo events and talking with folks out on the trail. It’s intended for North American travel built on a 2016 RAM 2500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel and a 6 speed manual transmission. A close to fully optioned Four Wheel Camper “Hawk” provides the accommodations sitting on an Aluminum flatbed with storage boxes. The crew at Adventure Trailers did all the assembly and custom fabrication to put the rig together. Enhancements include AEV suspension and wheels with 37” BFG KO2’s. An ARB air system provides air service front and back to fill tires or adjust the indepen dent air suspension front and rear and power front and rear ARB lockers. The front is protected by an ARB bumper which also holds a 16.5 Warn Winch. The back has a custom bumper and storage rack with a pair of Aluminess boxes.
