Overland Driving Course

Land Rover

. . . is confirmed for 2014. Land Rover Experience is once again sponsoring the on-site overland driving course. The course will be staffed by a dozen of the top overland driving skills trainers in the world to provide custom-tailored skills instruction.

The course is open all day to Overland Experience registrants, who can use their own vehicle, or use a provided test vehicle.

Day Pass attendees may sign up for a test drive using a provided vehicle, with a Land Rover instructor.

Note: Land Rovers are not loaners; they are for brief test drives only. There are no on-site rentals.

RawHyde Adventures & BMW

. . . will once again take center stage at the Adventure Motorcycle Rodeo Arena, with a custom built course. The on-site Adventure Motorcycle Skills and Demo Course is staffed by BMW & RawHyde Adventures in our Motorcycle Village.

Overland Experience registrants can sign-up for beginner or advanced adventure riding classes and motorcycle skills workshops.

Day Pass attendees and everyone can observe skills classes that are held in the arena (from outside the arena only).

Camel Trophy Overland Skills Area

The Camel Trophy Overland Expo Training Team

. . is returning for an even bigger 2014. Get ready to be blown away by our Camel Trophy Skills Area. Combining driving with hands-on instruction in a dynamic format will allow you to custom-tailor specific overland skills training: winching, rope-work and lashing, recovery, specialty substrates, spotting, bush skills, and more. We give the Camel Trophy Overland Expo Training Team a blank slate to design the ultimate overland skills training area. They won't disappoint!

Overland Experience registrants can sign up for exclusive classes and Weekend Pass attendees will have access with hands-on participation to the on-going Teaching Stations at the Camel Trophy Overland Skills Area

Hands-On Training Pavilions for 4WD Vehicles and Motorcycles

Our training pavilions get you out of the classroom and into the field. Each year we bring you an assortment of technical classes essential for overlanding. We try to cover everything from how-tos about electronics to hands-on maintenance repairs to showing how to set up gear and what to take with you (and sometimes leave behind).

Overland Experience registrants will have unlimited access to classes and workshops.

Seminars & Workshop

We have three classrooms dedicated to overland-specific instructional classes and seminars. Annual categories include: Planning and Logistics, Navigation, Communication, Photography & Videography, Cooking, and Health, Safety & Security.

Overland Experience registrants will have unlimited access to classes and workshops.
