BEN DRAGOOMOTORCYCLE INSTRUCTOR

Ben Dragoo is a loving husband and father first. He also owns and operates the Modern Prairie Craftsman, a small custom furniture shop in Norman, Oklahoma. He began riding motorcycles at the age of four, after begging his older brother to ride his brand-new birthday present, a Yamaha PW 50. Riding was sporadic for many years but In 2019 Ben found a renewed enthusiasm for the sport and began working on his ADV riding skills in hopes of someday joining his father in coaching with D.A.R.T. His natural talent has accelerated that dream. Becoming D.A.R.T. instructor in late 2019, Ben has poured himself into coaching local classes and acting as a guide/coach on tours in the American West and Mexico. He has also taught at regional and national events including Overland Expo, Touratech’s Dirt Daze, the Redneck Ramble, and Rendezvous in the Ozarks. Ben also enjoys big bike competitions, which led him to compete in the 2021 GS Trophy west coast qualifiers, where he placed fourth, “only missing the podium by one step.” “My hopes for the future are to further develop my skills involving all aspects of adventure riding, and act as an ambassador for the sport,” says Ben.
