DAVID KNIGHTMOTORCYCLE INSTRUCTOR

David Knight has loved being on two wheels as far back as he can remember. Beginning on dirt bikes in grade school, he soon learned that any lack of natural talent as a motorcyclist could be replaced by his natural stubbornness and an unwillingness to give up. As an adult, he still races cross country on his KTM. Moving from dirt bikes to sport bikes, the passion for both riding styles finally blended with the purchase of a BMW R 1200 GS Adventure. David shares that passion with others as an instructor with Dragoo Adventure Rider Training (D.A.R.T.) where for the past five years he has taught with Overland Expo. David pays for his passion through coaching and with his business, KC Banner, based in Kansas City.

Currently, backcountry travel throughout the Rocky Mountains and the Southwest are his favorite pastimes and international motorcycle traveling is on the horizon. Four-wheeled overlanding compliments his adventure riding exploits, at least far enough to find that breathtaking campsite, unload the motorcycles and explore some single-track.
