UPDATE—MAY 19: Sold out of all camping, the main camp is now full and we will not open camping sales.

Purchase a Weekend Pass and camp nearby. There are a lot of dispersed camping areas in the surrounding forest and use our FREE SHUTTLE (see below). Check www.overlandexpo.com/flagstaff/#camping for map and recommendations. Please note that if organized campgrounds are full, there is plenty of dispersed camping along forest roads. Utilize a topo map or your mapping app to find these roads, which do not show up on the map on the web page above.

SHUTTLE: we provide FREE service from nearby camping areas to / from Overland Expo.

The shuttle will be running from 7 am – 6 pm, in a loop on FR90 / Mormon Lake Road and Lake Mary Road on Friday and Saturday. To catch the shuttle, which will say Overland Expo on it, you must be visibly standing next to the main road (the shuttle will not be going into campgrounds or on dirt roads) and flag the driver when you see it. The shuttle will run continuously and not at exact times, so please be flexible with your schedule. Allow approx 30 to 45 minutes.

UPDATE—MAY 18: Camping off-site in surrounding forest is recommended.

It rained yesterday and the venue grounds are wet. At this time, the main campground is still closed and anyone who has not bought a Weekend Pass with Camping can purchase a Weekend Pass, and we recommend camping for the night in surrounding dispersed campsites. Please use the shuttle (below). The sun is out and if this trend continues, there is a chance we will open up the main campground tomorrow (Friday).

Those who have purchased Weekend Passes with Camping or Overland Experience will be directed to an alternate campground after you check-in. Thanks in advance for your understanding!

UPDATE—MAY 17: Now offering SHUTTLE service from nearby camping areas to / from Overland Expo.

Although we are no longer selling Weekend Passes with Camping on-site, you can still purchase a Weekend Pass and camp nearby. There is a lot of dispersed camping areas in the surrounding forest. Check www.overlandexpo.com/flagstaff/#camping for map and recommendations. Please note that if organized campgrounds are full, there is plenty of dispersed camping along forest roads. Utilize a topo map or your mapping app to find these roads, which do not show up on the map on the web page above.

The shuttle will be running from 7 am – 6 pm, in a loop on FR90 / Mormon Lake Road and Lake Mary Road. If you are driving in and parking on-site is full, there is additional parking along Mormon Lake Road. Feel free to catch the shuttle to the entrance of the event.

UPDATE—MAY 16: Weekend Passes WITH Camping are temporarily SOLD OUT. (Weekend Passes are still available)

The weather for the Expo weekend is looking very good. The forecast for Wednesday and Thursday is showing rain, which may impact the camping areas. We are being cautious about access to the main lake bed camp area, and we will not know until Friday if we'll be able to allow additional attendees to purchase camping.

We have alternate camp areas on the grounds for people who already have their camping passes.

There is a lot of dispersed camping areas in the surrounding forest. Check www.overlandexpo.com/flagstaff/#camping for map and recommendations.
