Backcountry Discovery Routes is in the midst of their 6th Annual Holiday Auction, so grab some great gear and make the ADV moto world a better place at the same time! The online auction features prizes from BDR supporters ranging from tours and training classes to bike rentals and gear.
“Through this auction, the motorcycle community has a chance to bid on some unique packages and ‘bucket list’ experiences,” said Inna Thorn, BDR Executive Director. “The auction proceeds go towards creating more riding opportunities for the ADV community. It’s a win-win for everyone!”
The BDR is a non-profit organization that has been creating off-highway routes for adventure motorcyclists for over a decade and they are dedicating the funds raised in the auction to several of their core causes. Between keeping routes and remote roads open for access or working with the motorcycle community and land managers to educate about public lands, the organization does great work and every dollar will help make your next ride even better.

“This is a super opportunity to engage in so many offerings at all levels of the ADV world and it goes to a great cause,” said Bill Whitacre, BDR Board Member. With the funds raised in the auction, BDR will also research and publish new BDR routes, provide free GPS tracks of the routes, and provide resources to people planning a trip, such as producing feature-length BDR documentaries.
