Garmin’s newest navigators offer a bevvy of useful upgrades, including brighter displays, larger touchscreens, faster performance and additional mapping options to make off-roading even more fun — and reliable. For overlanders, these upgraded navigators will be crucial in staying safe in the backcountry.

Both the Tread 2 — Overland Edition and the Tread 2 — SxS Edition feature 8-inch high-resolution, ultra-bright, glove-friendly touchscreens — so you can use them anytime, in any condition. They are each built to withstand extreme temperatures and weather, and both have an  IP67 dust and water rating.

The Tread 2 — Overland Edition is particularly rugged, and comes with a heavy-duty suction cup and robust magnetic-assisted locking mount to secure onto a vehicle’s dashboard, no matter how many washboards and rock crawls there are to navigate on your chosen route.

The Tread 2 — SxS Edition comes with a tube mount kit, making it easy to install on a powersport vehicle. If you’re really seeking adventure, you’ll appreciate the Great Rides feature, which explorers can use to locate the best off-road places to explore, rate a trail’s difficulty and even upload pictures to the Tread mobile app.
