Keeping gear dry and organized can be a challenge when traveling off-road, especially when storage space inside your vehicle is limited. Whether it’s strapped to a roof rack, secured in a truck bed, or sitting outside at camp, exposed equipment needs protection from rain, dust, and whatever else the trail throws its way. The new RUX Waterproof Duffel Box is designed to handle those conditions while keeping gear easily accessible.
Building on the original Duffel Box, the waterproof version features 840-denier TPU-coated nylon, RF-welded seams, and a segmented roll-top closure that keeps water and dust out without relying on a zipper. A wide-mouth opening provides easy access to gear, while a reinforced base helps the bag stand upright when packing.

The Waterproof Duffel Box also incorporates RUX’s modular organization system, with internal rails compatible with the brand’s organizer panels, packing cubes, pockets, and bags. Exterior Hypalon lash points allow the bag to be secured to roof racks, truck beds, and other cargo areas. Two carrying handles and removable padded shoulder straps provide additional versatility when transporting gear between the vehicle and campsite.

Two sizes are available. The 55-liter version measures 14 x 18.25 x 13.5 inches, weighs 4.01 pounds, and is priced at $340. It’s intended for shorter trips and can compress into a carry-on-friendly configuration, depending on airline restrictions. The larger 75-liter version measures 14 x 26 x 13.5 inches, weighs 5.07 pounds, and costs $390. Both versions have a maximum load capacity of 50 pounds.

For overlanders looking for flexible, waterproof storage without the bulk of a traditional hard case, the RUX Waterproof Duffel Box offers a versatile solution. Note, while the Duffel Box is designed to withstand rain, road spray, and dusty trails, it isn’t intended for prolonged submersion.
