Don’t Get Lost with Garmin Montana 700 Series GPS

If you’re anything like me, you love tech-y gadgets that make your overland travels safer and more fun. Top of my list when I head out onto the trails is a solid GPS unit that I can connect to my iPad (running your favorite third-party mapping app for clear trail overlays.)

Our friends at Garmin just added the 700 Series of handheld GPS units to their Montana line (some with inReach technology that helps you get out of sticky situations faster). The Montana 700 Series is designed for hikers and backpackers, but can easily be used on bicycles, motorcycles, and in-vehicle too. The Montana 700 GPS Series features a five-inch, full-color, daylight readable, glove-friendly touchscreen making it an easy system to use.

There are three price points for the Montana 700 Series:

The Garmin Montana 700i lists for $699.99 and includes all of the Montana 700 features as well as the addition of a GPS City Navigator function and inReach SOS technology.

The Garmin Montana 750i will run you $799.99. It includes all of the features listed above AS WELL AS an 8MP camera with autofocus and auto-geotagging.
