Tired of Clips? Stick a Smartphone to Your Dash with this Magnetic Mount.

Safely and securely stowing your smartphone during your overland journey, so it doesn’t bounce around your rig’s cabin on rougher trails, is essential. This is especially true if you’re using your smartphone as your primary navigation tool.

Typically, mounting your phone to the dashboard means wedging it into some kind of spring-loaded mount. These often require both your visual concentration and two hands — neither of which you can safely relinquish even for a second when traversing treacherous terrain — to use.

Thankfully, the fine folks at 67 Designs have created the MagMount G3, which is compatible with Pitaka MagEZ iPhone cases and MagSafe from Apple.

Simply pop your phone up against the MagMount. And, voilà, your smartphone is securely mounted to your dash without any fuss or muss.

For those running an overlanding Jeep, the MagMount is available with the JL/Gladiator Rail or separately.

For those not running a new Jeep, you can connect the MagMount to one of 67 Designs’ 20mm clamp and carbon fiber arms. 67 Designs has solutions for Ford F-Series, Land Rover Defenders, Toyotas, as well as some vans. So, you are sure to find something to fit your overland 4×4.
