The compressor runs on two brushless electric motors, which offer a real advantage over the brushed motors. ARB reinforced that durability with an active cooling fan on each motor to keep temperatures in check during longer inflation sessions. It features a 100 percent duty cycle meaning it runs continuously without rest intervals, and the IP67 water resistance rating means it holds up in wet and harsh conditions without issue.
ARB built the Brushless Twin Motor to stay consistent no matter what conditions it is working in. The Electronic Speed Control keeps output steady across changing pressure levels and temperatures, while the compressor continuously monitors itself and makes automatic adjustments for fluctuations in the vehicle’s charging system. Audio and visual alerts keep operators informed, and integrated voltage and overload protection covers both the compressor and the vehicle’s electrical system. For twin motor setups, ARB’s Smart Start technology staggers the startup sequence between the two motors, reducing the initial power draw enough to run reliably on vehicles with smaller charging systems.
Installation is equally well thought out. The brushless design eliminates the need for relays, keeping the wiring clean and the setup simple.
