Announcing a New Venue for Overland Expo 2016 EAST

The Biltmore Estate

Over the past two years we have fallen in love with the lively cultural center of Asheville, North Carolina, and the scenery of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. Our original venue there, while lovely, proved to be lacking in several areas—particularly weather resistance when stressed by even a light rainfall, let alone a Category 4 hurricane.

We decided to stay in Asheville but significantly up our game. Thus we are thrilled to announce that Overland Expo 2016 EAST will be hosted on the lush, world-famous grounds of the 8,000-acre Biltmore Estate. We have reserved a private enclave along the French Broad river, with expansive fields for vendors, classes, and on-site camping, and access to the existing superb Land Rover Experience trails for four-wheel-drive and motorcycle training.

As a bonus, attendees will be able to tour the Biltmore House and enjoy adjoining estate facilities such as half a dozen top-quality restaurants, a winery, farm facilities, miles of biking and hiking trails, and choose from add-on activity packages such as clay pigeon shooting, flyfishing, and boating. (And part of our deal includes an all-weather alternate site in case of heavy rain! Biltmore will really be looking after us.)

This is sure to be an Expo unlike any before it. We will be opening registration in June 2016 with an all-new attendance structure.
