On May 20, 2021 Dometic Corporation entered into an agreement to acquire Front Runner Vehicle Outfitters, a provider of high-quality roof racks, load bars, storage solutions and off-road accessories for the vehicle-based outdoor market.

This acquisition fills an important hole in Dometic’s product offerings – namely adding quality roof racks and adjacent overland storage and lifestyle products to their already top-of-line refrigeration and mobile power solutions. The merger is sure to make Dometic a dominant player in the vehicle-based adventure travel market and opens new doors for current customers of both brands through a strengthened distribution network.
The acquisition is expected to come to a close during the third quarter of 2021.
