2017 Change Your World Fund grantee, Candida Lewis, just completed an epic 6-month solo motorcycle journey from India to Sydney—the first Indian woman to do so, in support of women’s education and rights. Join Candida for a short presentation documenting her travels to kick off the Overland Film Festival festivities.
8:00 PM FEATURE FILM – WHATEVER MAY COME by Christian Vogel
34 year old Christian Vogel sets out to fulfill his hearts desire to travel around the world by motorcycle. Leaving his apartment, job and family behind, he sets off alone on a journey across 22 countries. Whatever May Come documents his 50,000 kilometer journey, showing both the unforgettable experiences and the tremendous obstacles and dangers he experiences over 333 days of travel as he traverses North American, Russia, China and India and sections of Mongolia, Pakistan, Nepal and Iran.
