The Easter Jeep Safari Event in Moab, Utah will be extra exciting this spring with Jeep set to unveil a 100% battery-powered Wrangler BEV (battery electric vehicle) concept vehicle. It is expected that the production model will be available for sale to the public in the fall of 2021 or in the beginning of 2022.

The Road Ahead site illustrates Jeep’s commitment to electric and hybrid vehicles, noting its previously announced plans to build solar-powered charging stations in Moab and along the Rubicon Trail in California.
In a statement to Green Car Reports, Jeep Brand Global President Christian Meunier said: “The Road Ahead illustrates how we are proudly building on our rich heritage as we commit to making Jeep the greenest SUV brand. All Jeep models will carry an electrified option in the next few years and will take green and 4×4 technology to the next level.”
