Off-road illumination specialists KC HiLites has debuted a new full-size, high-powered LED lighting system called the Gravity Titan series.
The new lights are based around a toughened full size 6” housing and feature high power output with a low 39-Watt draw per light. Each light puts out a maximum of 144,000 candela, which is good for over 1,200 feet (380 meters) of reach down the road or trail for the focused beam models. “We took the nostalgia for classic round lights and the demand for LED light bars, and infused all of that together with cutting-edge GRD optic technology,” the company said on its website.
Weight for each light is just under four pounds. The lights are also available in “Wide 40” flood version as well as a street-legal SAE versions and can be mixed and matched with separate controllers to cover most any situation.
A single light is $399, and two lights with mounting hardware is $799. Light bar arrays from 20 inches to 57 inches wide are also available. An eight-light setup with a light bar is just over $2,700. All Gravity Titan lights come with wiring, mounting kits and activation switches.
Each light comes with a traditional KC branded light cover for DOT compliance and lens protection. While not rated for submersion, the lights are weather sealed and built to take on the rigors of off-reading and overlanding. Connection to power is simplified using quick MoistureBlock electrical connectors. The lights also include a built-in Amber Dust light mode that gives a different look at a lower output than the main lighting mode.
The new Gravity Titan lights are now available from KC HiLites for Ford, Jeep and Toyota vehicles. A fitment tool on the company website can assist with finding the correct setup for your specific vehicle.
