Land Rover Hearken Back to Its Heritage With the Defender Trophy Edition

Imagine for a moment the sight of Land Rover Defenders strung out for miles, slogging through the worst mud imaginable. The drivers are dirty and tired from seemingly endless days of driving, digging, and winching to get these cars through the mud and jungle. But to a man, they all are smiling and having the time of their lives. This was Camel Trophy, the “Legend of Adventure”.

Land Rover made their name as the toughest 4×4 on the planet through their nearly 20-year participation with the event running from 1981 to 1998. Sandglow yellow Range Rovers, Defenders, and Discoveries inspired people everywhere to get out and explore, even if it was just in their own backyard. So it’s no surprise that Land Rover is paying tribute to that unparalleled period in its history with the 2023 Defender Trophy Edition.
