If you’ve never ridden a motorcycle before, the Ride With Us Moto Intro will have you taking your first turns on a dirt bike in under an hour. The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) will be at all four Overland Expo events this year to teach you the basics and give you a chance to experience the fun of riding for yourself.
“We are returning to the Overland Expos to bring the fun of dirt bikes to attendees across the country,” said Cinnamon Kernes, MIC vice president of market expansion. “Ride With Us Moto Intros provide the opportunity for non-riders to try a dirt bike in a pressure-free environment. This is the best way for them to see if dirt-biking is right for them and to learn the advantages of enrolling in a complete MSF training course, the best next step towards becoming a rider.”
The Moto Intro is free for all Overland Expo attendees. Designed for people who have never ridden before, Motorcycle Safety Foundation coaches will guide new riders through basic motorcycle controls and help them experience their first ride on a controlled dirt course. Ride With Us provides all the gear, instruction, dirt bikes, and hands-on training you need to experience the thrill of your first ride.
“MIC’s Ride With Us Moto Intros are a great opportunity for any moto-curious person to try riding, and we are thrilled the MIC could deliver this experience in the dirt for our attendees,” said Jessica Kirchner, Vice President of Marketing, Overland Expo. “The Overland Expo audience is full of aspiring adventure riders.”
Ride With Us participants must be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license (16 years of age with a parent’s signature). After the course is over, the rider journey continues on the Ride With Us website with information and resources on the next steps, with specifics on rider education and training as well as including the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse, the licensing course offered in 46 states and throughout the U.S. military.
The Ride With Us experience is free to all Overland Expo attendees, so get your tickets to Overland Expo and let’s go ride some motorcycles!
