Get Behind the Wheel with Ram and Jeep at Overland Expo Mountain West

Some vehicles deserve more than a walk-around, they deserve to be driven. That’s exactly what attendees can do at this year’s Overland Expo Mountain West as Ram Trucks and Jeep return with their popular Ride and Drive experience. The Ram Trucks and Jeep Off-Road Ride & Drive gives visitors the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the capability of the brand’s off-road lineup firsthand.

Set against the backdrop of Loveland, Colorado, the Ram and Jeep Off-Road Ride and Drive is designed to introduce drivers to the features and technologies that make today’s rigs so capable both on and off the pavement. Whether you’re shopping for your next adventure vehicle or simply curious about the latest advancements in off-road engineering, there’s no better way to understand a truck than from the driver’s seat.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to spend time behind the wheel of several Ram trucks during a media drive in Colorado, and it completely changed my perspective on what today’s full-size trucks are capable of off pavement. Features like advanced four-wheel-drive systems, terrain management technology, and suspension tuning are easy to appreciate once you experience them in the environments they were designed for.

This year’s Ride and Drive fleet is expected to include several of Ram’s most adventure-ready models, including the Ram 1500 Rebel, Ram 1500 RHO, Ram 2500 Rebel, and the legendary Ram 2500 Power Wagon. Plus, attendees can check out Jeep’s legendary lineup including Wrangler and Gladiator. Final vehicle availability is subject to change.

The experience is designed to demonstrate key off-road fundamentals such as articulation, vehicle technology, and capability in a controlled environment. Along the way, Ram and Jeep product specialists will be available to answer questions and explain the engineering and features that help these trucks perform when the pavement ends.

Beyond the driving experience, be sure to stop by the Ram and Jeep display, where you’ll find both production and upfitted vehicles showcasing how the platforms can be configured for everything from weekend camping trips to extended overland adventures. The display offers plenty of inspiration for anyone planning their next build, whether your goal is increased utility, improved capability, or long-distance travel.

Registration for the Ride and Drive takes place at the Ram and Jeep display throughout the weekend and is available on a first-come, first-served basis during event hours.

If you’re heading to Overland Expo Mountain West, make time to experience one of the event’s premier hands-on attractions. Between the Ride and Drive, the overland-inspired vehicle displays, more than 300 exhibitors, and over 150 classes and demonstrations, there’s no shortage of opportunities to get ready for your next adventure.

Purchase your tickets today and start planning your Mountain West weekend. We look forward to seeing you in Loveland.
