Overland Expo’s 2023 Ultimate Vehicle build is based on the new LX600 platform, a luxurious adventure machine in its own right, but made far more capable with a long list of additions, modifications, and enhancements at every level.
The team at MULE Expedition Outfitters replaced the stock bumpers with more robust units from ARB and CBI, and running gear upgrades include 17-inch compression wheels from ICON Alloy, Kenda Klever R/T tires, a 2.5-inch lift via shocks and struts from Radflo, revised control arms and links from Total Chaos and cool new Intensity IQ LED aux lights from ARB. A MagnaFlow Cat-back exhaust lets the twin-turbo V6 breathe deep.
MULE then turned their attention to the interior, including adding a CXF3 45 Dometic fridge on a slide-out rack, Goose Gear Ultimate Chef Package, Midland GMRS radio, Armadillo A2 Rooftop Tent from 23 Zero, and a First Aid kit from Self-Reliance Medical. Check out the whole list of upgrades here.
