Subaru’s legendary Outback model is their most iconic and most rugged, not to mention the most capable, vehicle in their lineup. The teaser we just got might change all of that – and we can’t wait to see what they unveil.
The folks at Subaru look to be introducing a new Wilderness Package on March 30th and it appears they are rolling it out on the 2022 Subaru Outback first.
The teaser image that Subaru unveiled this month (above) of the upcoming Outback Wilderness, shows Yokohama Geolandar AT tires wrapped around black six-spoke wheels, beefier side skirting, and chunky, orange Outback badging. We expect this trim level to include a higher ride height than the standard 8.7 inches and heavier-duty suspension.
This is all conjecture at this point and Subaru could surprise us with more news on March 30 when they do the unveiling. If you want to sign up for the reveal, you can do so here: www.subaru.com/something-wild.
We look forward to seeing more Subies on the trails in the near future!
