Hooray! There’s going to be an adventure motorcycle event in 2020! Touratech DirtDAZE Adventure Rally is happening August 20-23, 2020 in North Haverhill, NH. That said, event organizers reserve the right to pull the plug if they feel that the event can’t be executed safely in the light of COVID-19 (don’t worry, you’ll get a refund if that happens).
Now, this isn’t the only event happening, but this might just be the light at the end of the pandemic tunnel that I’ve been waiting for. With positive predictions from the CDC and local public health organizations regarding virus cases and event changes that spread participants out new, larger venue, DirtDAZE is slated to stay on the throttle.
The event takes place in a beautiful part of New England and features guided rides, adventure bike training by the D.A.R.T. team, and socially distanced camaraderie. The event is locally produced in partnership with Touratech.
“When we had the opportunity to join forces with the DirtDAZE team, we jumped on it,” said Matt Lewis of Touratech USA. “We want to provide adventure riders the best experiences on each coast and Touratech DirtDAZE was a no-brainer. Riders shouldn’t miss it.”
Now, I haven’t been to DirtDAZE (yet), but I couldn’t agree more. Between Touratech, D.A.R.T., and late summer in New England, this will be an amazing weekend of riding and training. Plus, you know everyone at the event will be wearing protective gear and gloves, just like the CDC recommends.
