Ram is once again making room in the trophy case. Just a few months after the Ram 1500 TRX was awarded MotorTrend Truck of the Year, U.S. News and World Report has named the Ram as their Best Truck Brand for 2021. This marks the third time Ram has received this particular award.

“Ram wins the ‘Best Truck Brand’ award on the strength of the Ram 1500, which is one of the few trucks on the market to make a case for itself as both a work vehicle and a daily driver,” said Jim Sharifi, managing editor of U.S. News Best Cars. “The Ram 1500 features a coil-spring rear suspension that makes it comfortable enough for commuting, but capable enough for serious towing and hauling. The Ram interior features a top-notch infotainment system with intuitive controls and a huge touch screen and feature materials that keep pace with what luxury SUVs offer.”

The U.S. News and World Report scoring system is based on reliability ratings, safety scores, and the consensus of automotive journalistic.

With trucks ranging from the Tradesman to the Power Wagon to the TRX, with plenty of options in between, Ram has done an excellent job making a truck for just about every purpose. In terms of overlanding, you can outfit a 1500 with a wide array of aftermarket accessories, or you can pick the trail-ready Power Wagon and be ready for just about any adventure right off of the lot. As the popularity of full-sized overlanding rigs continues to climb, Ram offers some great options.
