Rack and storage gear maker Rhino-Rack now offers a full roof rack kit for many Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, a popular platform for many overlanding rigs.

The new $2,397 Overlanding Kit is based on the backbone kit and will fit 144-inch 2-door high-roof models with or without the factory-installed roof tracks but will also fit “medium wheelbase high roof, bare or factory track roof variants.” Rhino says the Sprinter kit also utilizes Reconn-deck bars and Reconn-deck NS bars.

“This system allows the consumer to fit their Reconn-Deck bars on top of their vehicle roof to support their adventure needs – whether that’s trade, camping or long-haul overland adventure,” Rhino Rack says on their website. The basic system weighs 55 pounds, according to Rhino-Rack.

Features include an integrated wind fairing, easy placement of cross bars to clear AC units and other gear, and simplified fitment for accessories. The rack comes with a 5-year warranty from Rhino-Rack. The rack comes in at 108x96x66 inches.
