Just In Time For Summer, EcoFlow Launches New Air Conditioner

In an effort to bring even more of the comforts of home into the wild, EcoFlow has released the Wave 3, a portable air conditioner and heater that features smart controls, useful upgrades and seamless functionality.

The EcoFlow Wave 3 is an update to an existing model, and brings meaningful upgrades including portability, longer-lasting batteries and smart controls to enhance the user experience.

The Wave 3 sees improvements in heating and cooling capacity, smart controls, efficiency and water drainage. EcoFlow incorporated two years of customer feedback into the Wave 3, and it shows: the unit relies on improved R290 refrigerant (versus traditional R32), which improves its efficiency. The portable air conditioner and heater can heat or cool spaces ranging from 118 to 183 square feet, and can lower the temperature by up to 15 degrees Fahrenheit in 15 minutes, thanks to its 1800W of cooling power, and its 2000W of heating power can raise the temperature by 17 degrees Fahrenheit.

The unit requires no installation, and the built-in 1024Wh LFP battery can provide up to eight hours of cooling in Eco Mode. The Wave 3 has a lifespan of 4,000 cycles, and will cool your truck, van or whatever rig you choose to roam in. The Wave 3 features an Automatic Mode, which switches between heating and cooling depending on the ambient temperature. Anyone who has spent time in an enclosed rig knows humidity can be an issue, but the Dehumidification Mode keeps your space dry, and minimizes potential damage or mold from moisture.

One of the coolest (pun intended) features on the EcoFlow Wave 3 is Pet Care Mode, which automatically activates cooling if the interior temperature of your vehicle goes above 77 degrees Fahrenheit, and sends an alert to your connected device.

The Wave 3 can be cahrged fully in just 75 minutes, adding to its usefulness, and can be charged via multiple sources, including AC power, solar, car charging and using with the EcoFlow Alternator Charger.
