Ford recently announced a number of new models and a concept in celebration of the Bronco’s 60th anniversary. Since the Bronco made its reappearance in 2020, it’s been a hit with off-roaders, Ford fans, and just those looking for a fun and capable SUV. This trio offers a great gamut of what the Bronco can be, from a purpose-built off-roader to a retro throwback.

The aptly named 60th Anniversary Edition launched last week, and it brings a whole host of unique options to the Bronco. Based on the 2026 Outer Banks package, this Bronco is packed with throwback flair and plenty of capability. Most notably, Vermillion Red ascents are scattered throughout the interior and exterior, along with a special vintage-inspired grill. Exclusive 60th Anniversary badging can be found on the center caps, side graphics, seatbacks, and center console. However, this Bronco is all about the aesthetics. It’s also rocking 35-inch Goodyear tires mounted to 17-inch alloy rims. It’s available with either the turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost I4 or the turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost V6.

While the 60th Anniversary edition will be available from Ford in the coming months, this next Bronco brings even more retro flair, but unfortunately, it won’t be making its way to your local dealership. Dubbed the Roadster Concept, this Bronco is the perfect balance between the original Ford Bronco U13 and the latest iteration. Based on the sixth-gen Bronco, this simplified concept rig has been stripped down to resemble the original in every way possible. It includes a manual transmission, a utility-focused cargo area including the spare tire, a stamped tailgate, and, obviously, a lack of doors. However, it’s not as Spartan as the 1960s counterparts in terms of tech. There’s still a center touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster, along with all the controls you’d expect on the steering wheel. As cool as it is, this is a one-of-a-kind concept that we can only admire from afar.

Rounding out the trio of special Broncos, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Project pays tribute to the natural beauty found at the dunes found in Michigan while also highlighting the customization available for Broncos. A deep selection available through the Ford Performance parts catalogue allows every Bronco owner to truly make their rig their own. The Silver Lake Dunes Bronco is decked out with a Yakima Paddle Board Carrier, Rigid Lights, bull bars, blacked-out wheels, BFGoodrich KO3 tires, and a custom wrap and paint combo. There’s also a matching Bronco Sport with many of the same accessories.
Over the coming months, Ford might release more special editions to coincide with the legendary 4×4’s hallmark anniversary. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for more awesome options for the Bronco fans out there.
