Adventure-ready vehicles come in all sizes, and the upcoming 2027 MINI Countryman Untamed Edition brings a new option to the compact crossover segment. With all-terrain upgrades and camping equipment developed in partnership with Helinox and Autohome, the new model is designed for weekend getaways, road trips, and exploring beyond the pavement.
Helinox Brings Its Gear to MINI
A highlight of the Untamed Edition is its exclusive camping collection developed with outdoor gear specialist Helinox. The collection includes a custom Tactical Chair One and Tactical Table One, both featuring black fabric and steel-gray frames. Designed to be lightweight, compact, and easy to pack, the furniture provides a practical solution for setting up camp without taking up valuable cargo space.
For overnight adventures, MINI has partnered with Italian rooftop tent manufacturer Autohome to offer a separately available hard-shell tent. The tent features gas-assisted opening, weather-resistant materials, and panoramic openings, allowing travelers to quickly transition from driving to camping.

A More Capable Countryman
Beyond the camping equipment, the Untamed Edition includes a 15-millimeter suspension lift, standard Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires, and ALL4 all-wheel drive. Increased ground clearance and protective exterior elements provide added versatility when venturing onto dirt roads and less developed campsites.
The vehicle also supports up to 165 pounds of roof cargo while driving and 661 pounds when stationary, accommodating rooftop camping equipment within the manufacturer’s specified limits.
While it won’t replace a dedicated off-road rig, the Countryman Untamed Edition offers an interesting alternative for outdoor enthusiasts looking to combine everyday practicality with weekend adventures.
Production begins in November 2026, with U.S. availability expected in early 2027. Gasoline-powered and all-electric ALL4 versions will be offered, with pricing starting at $43,900 for the Countryman S ALL4 Untamed Edition.
