Go the extra mile (or 50, for that matter) with the Desert Fox Fuel Bag

Motorcyclists have been social distancing since way before the pandemic came along and made it trendy. Of course, one of the best parts of riding is getting really remote and hanging out in the hinterlands for as long as possible. However, traveling to far flung places comes with its caveats, one of them being a lack of fuel (side note to all the GSA riders out there, you can probably move onto another article now). Fortunately, Desert Fox has come up with a clever solution to ease the woes of wanderlusting riders with a line of military-grade fuel bladders.

Strong enough to handle the worst conditions and flexible enough to be folded away, the Desert Fox Trail Gas Bag holds three liters of precious petrol for when you need it the most. The fuel cell weighs well under a pound when empty and can easily be folded or rolled up, saving weight and space compared to traditional fuel bottles or jerry cans.

The Trail Gas Bag has a fuel spout that stores securely inside a dust-proof integrated pouch and, at just 9 by 15 inches, the bag is compact enough to fit into many hydro packs. Plus, the bladder comes decked out with D-rings and daisy chains to attach easily to your top box or pannier lid.

Available in 3L, 6L and 20L derivatives, the Desert Fox is also suitable for water (or post-riding whiskey, for that matter), provided that the cell has not been used for fuel before. So, whether you’re on your motorcycle or in your truck, feel free to stock up on whatever liquid suits you and keep on social distancing to your heart’s content.
