The EarthCruiser Terranova is a Game Changer

EarthCruiser is best know for the very capable expedition vehicle of the same name built on the Mitsubishi Fuso chassis, but the Bend, OR-based company is making waves in the overland industry with their new EC Terranova Expedition Vehicle, which debuted on April 30, 2021.

The EC Terranova is a 4×4 cab-over expedition vehicle currently built on the Ford one-ton chassis with Chevy and Dodge options coming in 2022. The living quarters of the EC Terranova boasts foam core fiberglass construction, which keeps heat in (or out) making it a true four season exploration platform.

“The EC Terranova is the culmination of years of expedition experience and field testing across the globe. We used this hard earned knowledge to create an incredibly capable, well-designed over-cab expedition vehicle on a domestic one-ton chassis, something already proven, familiar and accessible to consumers, and that can be serviced with ease” said Chad Knight, GM of EarthCruiser. “We focus on capability and function without compromise and that includes the living quarters, which were purposefully designed to be multi-functional for today’s explorers. We wanted to create a home you want to live in, not beside. The EC Terranova is the perfect exploration partner for any outdoor enthusiasts seeking to live and travel unbound, without sacrificing performance, comfort or livability.”

There are so many great design details in the new EC Terranova including the lounge that is designed to be a multi-function work, entertaining, dining, hang out spot with room for four adults and one child. The table adjusts up and down, as well as forward and back to support a range of positions depending on how you’re using it. The seating area also converts to an extra bed.

Imagine a 360º view from your bed! The EarthCruiser designed the EC Terranova’s loft bed to feel spacious and functional as well as being a place that you want to hang out. EarthCruiser paid attention to detail in the loft area including the wall-to-wall queen-sized mattress, power stations, ambient reading lights, and small cubbies to tuck away bedside items.
