The 2025 Ultimate Overland Builds have been making the rounds and hitting up trails between events. Don’t miss your chance to check out the GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X AEV Edition and Suzuki V-Strom 800DE that are kitted out with everything you could need for two modes of long-distance backcountry adventures. The GMC is ready to take a truck-load of folks deep into the wilderness with all of the comforts of home. The Suzuki is designed to travel light and fast over dirt and hardpack so that you never have to ask what’s over the horizon. Both of these builds are standouts amongst the Ultimate Overland Build projects and not to be missed.
Meet the fine folks at Overland Expo Foundation and win some prizes

We might be a bit biased, but we think we’ve saved the best for last. All weekend long, the Overland Expo Foundation will be set up and letting people know about their work that expands trail access, introducing new groups to overlanding, and much more. Be sure to grab some raffle tickets and head to the Overland Expo Foundation Charity Raffle on Saturday at 7 pm, where thousands of dollars in prizes are up for grabs. You never know what kind of awesome overlanding gear will end up on the prize table!
Of course, there’s so much more to Overland Expos than can fit in any post. This year we are showcasing a brand new RC off-road course open to kids of all ages (even those of us who are old enough to have grandkids). You can choose your replica from a variety of popular rigs and pilot it around the course to test your driving skills, albeit on a smaller scale.
Come camp in the mountains of Colorado, make friends, win prizes, pilot an RC rig, and maybe find your dream camper (or dream lighting system, radio, tent, portable stove…) at Overland Expo Mountain West, August 22-24, 2025 in Loveland, Colorado.
