Turtleback Trailer & 23Zero Tent Winners Announced!

We caught up with Missouri-based Overland Expo attendees Toby & Rebecca Stowe after they were chosen as our 10th Anniversary Giveaway promotion winners. The Stowe Family won a Turtleback Getaway Trailer and a 23Zero Bondi Roof top tent set-up.  

The Stowes grew up camping as kids and decided this year to get back into the outdoor lifestyle taking their 2 kids (ages 8 and 4) along with their 2 dogs for camping trips.  As avid Jeep enthusiasts, they’ve followed the overlanding movement via various YouTube and social media accounts, but decided to road trip out to their first Overland Expo in Virginia as part of their 10th Anniversary celebration this year.  Toby & Rebecca loved the event and the community so much that it inspired them to “gear up” and enhance their family’s camping and overlanding experience.

Toby & Rebecca own their own business in Missouri and see overlanding as a way to get away from the stress of the daily grind and spend more time together in nature as a family.  

“We would love to start taking more long-weekend trips with our family and then plan at least a 1-2 week trip each year around the US in the near future,” said Rebecca Stowe.  “Once we get a bit more experience with overlanding, and our children get a little older, we would love to travel internationally. We live in Missouri, but love the mountains, so there are several places we can get to within an 8 hour drive that would allow us some mountain adventures as a family.” 

Toby and Rebecca signed up for the giveaway contest this summer after seeing it promoted in the Overland News e-newsletter once they signed up for Overland Expo East.
