Today, Honda announced the release of the 2026 Passport: an updated, offroad-ready take on its well-known SUV. The 2026 Passport features a few key updates that make it a uniquely capable mid-size SUV with a lot to offer. Read on for the latest.
The new Passport is bigger and more powerful than its predecessors, if just by a touch. It features a return of the next-generation 3.5L DOHC V6 engine, which gets along nicely with the responsive I-VTM4 torque vectoring 4WD system paired with a 10-speed auto. The suspension has been tuned for trail-ready performance, and the Passport’s rugged styling complements its enhanced capabilities. The 2026 Passport comes with 31-inch tires, 14-inch brakes, and a surprisingly capable 5000-pound tow capacity.
Moving inside the SUV, the all-new 2026 Passport features a redesigned interior, which includes a 10.2-inch Digital Instrument Cluster and a 12.3-inch Color Touch-Screen (with Google built-in) to aid you on your next road trip. The Passport TrailSport Elite model includes additional off-road features, including the second-generation TrailWatch camera system, which shows front tire paths, helping to guide you through tougher obstacles. The Passport TrailSpot Elite can be additionally customized with a range of accessories meant to enhance any adventure.
Starting in the mid $40,000 range, the all-new Passport will be available for purchase starting early 2025.
