ICECO and JEEP Team Up for the Ultimate ’41 Willys -Inspired Cooler

ICECO and Jeep have teamed up to produce what might be the ultimate cooler for the JEEP enthusiast or the military history buff – the ICECO X JEEP APL35 Limited Edition. The collaboration draws inspiration from the famed ’41 Willys JEEP MB that was ubiquitous across both theaters in World War II and the model that launched the JEEP into American culture as GIs returned home and demanded their own. The Civilian JEEP that would come to be known as the “CJ” would replicate much of the look of the original MB, including the round headlights and an updated version of the welded slat front grill that would become JEEP’s most iconic feature. 85 years later, the DNA of that original ’41 Willys JEEP can still be seen in the modern-day Wrangler and Gladiator.

The APL35 Limited Edition primarily pays homage to the past through its “41 Green” coloring that closely matches the matte OD green of those original wartime JEEPS. The handles and latches are trimmed in a tanned leather that was commonly used to secure gear in the era, and the limited edition model also features subtle black trim and hardware that contrasts with the OD green.

The cooler itself is based on ICECO’s very popular APL35 model, a 37-quart dual-zone cooler built around a high-efficiency SECOP compressor. The unit features a 1.7-inch-thick vacuum-insulated panel system, ICECO’s control panel, as well as providing app-controlled remote management through Bluetooth.

With the original ’41 JEEP MBs originally rolling off the assembly line with a price of $738.74, ICECO seems to have missed a great pre-sale pricing tie-in, but you can get one of your own for a little cheaper than that at only $710.10 through July 26, 2026. After that, it will sell at a $789 MSRP. At either price, we suspect it is going to be a popular model.
