Rack and accessory maker Leitner Designs has added some new options for owners of the new crop of INEOS Grenadier overlanding vehicles. According to a press release from the California-based Leitner, components will include a platform rack, rooftop crossbars, front bumper auxiliary-light bracket, chase-light bracket, auxiliary air compressor bracket kit, dual cargo-area shelves, and a spare-tire relocation bracket.
“The INEOS Grenadier is nearly a turnkey solution for any adventure seeker,” Leitner Designs Founder and Chief Designer Bernhard Leitner said of the British-made overlanding rig. Leitner is a Grenadier owner but said he “immediately identified several gaps in the factory accessory line” post-purchase. “I designed products I wanted for my Grenadier that mirror INEOS’ engineering. Like everything I design, every piece of this collection is engineered to be as robust, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to install,” Leitner said, adding the roof rack options “allow for full functionality of the Safari windows.”
Racks, lights, and air compressor options
The ACS roof rack will come in two sizes, including a three-quarter and full-length option. Coupled with Leitner cross bars, setting up a rooftop tent will be simpler than using the stock Grenadier rails, says Leitner. Leitner also wanted to amp up the lighting over the stock Grenadier and designed brackets for Baja Designs’ LP4 and LP6 Pro LED Auxiliary Light Pod. More brackets allow for mounting additional rearward lighting systems.
Leitner also created an underseat mount for ARB’s Single Motor Air Compressor that utilizes factory studs located beneath the rear seat. The company says owners assemble the bracket and compressor system outside the vehicle and then secure the compressor under the seat by tightening two nuts, and connecting to power. Installation requires only basic tools and can be completed in minutes, according to Leitner.

Unlike the systems used on many other brands of truck and SUV, the rooftop platform rack for the INEOS Grenadier will clamp onto the drip rails, and the Leitner Designs’ platform rack, the Active Cargo System (ACS) ROOF, will mount using the Grenadier’s factory grab handles.
Leitner says the Grenadier bits will remain rattle-free with correct installation. More options allow for mounting Rotopax-type fuel and liquid containers, tools, and Leitner’s locking GearPod storage bins. All of the Leitner Grenadier options can be found here.
