It’s safe to assume that overlanding is a big part of everyone’s life if they frequent the Overland Expo site, but it’s now overlanding is once again hitting the small screen thanks to Off-Road Travel TV. This new series just premiered on January 12th on MAVTV.
When you check out the trailer for the first episode, you might recognize a familiar face. Frequent Overland Expo instructor and all-around good guy Michael Ladden and his amazing Drive the Globe expedition rig are featured in the kick-off of the series. The Off-Road Travel TV team enjoys a camping trip with Michael, and they get a tour of his famous orange rig.

The next segment features Ken Faught heading to Utah to go on an amazing three-day tour with Speed & Sport Adventures, considered the best dirt bike tour company in America. The show concludes with a preview of Off-Road Travel TV’s incredible 48-day Alaskan adventure and a look at our amazing purpose-built Toyota Tundra and 4Runner.
Off-Road Travel TV will be the first weekly 30-minute magazine-style show on a national cable and satellite television channel aimed at the off-road and overland audience that covers two, four-six, and even eight-wheel vehicles. The program will deliver regular high-quality features on off-road motorcycle, Jeep, van, and truck builds, in-depth evaluations of new and existing products, informative how-to articles, valuable camping tips and tricks, and, of course, off-road travel to both iconic and popular off-road destinations.
“After over two years in the making we are excited to see the launch of Off-Road Travel TV on MAVTV, the fastest growing motorsports network in the USA” said Mark Mitchell, CEO and co-founder of Off-Road Travel TV. “We look forward to providing the MAVTV audience with a weekly glimpse into the exciting and inviting world of off-road and overland travel through amazing destinations, top notch builds and the latest in gear and equipment that makes modern off-road travel so attractive and enjoyable.”
