Meet the Chef
This dinner is led by a familiar face at Overland Expo, Chef Lee “Natty” Trebotich. Chef Lee is the founder of Food For Adventures, and has shared his culinary wisdom by leading a variety of classes at a few Overland Expos already.
He has over 25 years of cooking and teaching experience around the world. As a Gulf Coast native, he understands the deep relationship between food and the land. He’ll be bringing this experience, his expertise as a biologist, botanist, and forager, together to craft a unique menu that incorporates wild-foraged ingredients, southern classics, and handcrafted recipes.
We’ve been lucky enough to sample Chef Lee’s dishes during several sessions he taught at prior Overland Expos. Trust us, everyone at this dinner is in for a real treat!
Support Protecting Public Lands
The Overland Expo Foundation Charity Dinner benefits Venture Unknown Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to protecting our public lands through conservation, restoration, education, and responsible recreation. From restoring campsites and cleaning up trails to partnering with the U.S. Forest Service on stewardship initiatives, Venture Unknown Foundation is helping ensure that future generations can enjoy the same trails, forests, and wild places that inspire us today.

A New Raffle Not to be Missed
The legendary Saturday night Overland Expo Foundation Raffle is a staple of our event series. It’s not only a great time with the community and opportunity to win thousands of dollars in prizes, but is also a key fundraiser for the foundation. This raffle will happen once again on Saturday night at Overland Expo East 2026, but the Charity Dinner attendees get another opportunity to win big and support the work of the foundation.
The Overland Expo Foundation Charity Dinner will feature a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be split between the foundation and one lucky attendee, who will walk away with a cash prize. This is yet another way you can help the Overland Expo Foundation increase its impact, and have fun doing it.
