PAKMULE Just Set the Bar for Hitch Motorcycle Carriers

At Overland Expo PNW I walked by the PAKMULE booth and noticed that in addition to their excellent line of hitch baskets they had something new on display. The MOTOMULE hitch-mounted moto carrier was making its debut at the event, and without a doubt, it’s just as well-engineered as the rest of the PAKMULE product line.

For starters, the MOTOMULE features 100% aluminum construction. It can hold bikes up to 550 lbs. with rear tire widths up to 150mm. Four anchor points allow users to strap down their bike with the included 1.5-inch cam buckle straps while also providing plenty of redundancy. There’s also an optional cargo shelf that’s perfect for keeping fuel jugs out of your rig. The adjustable wheel loop can easily be dialed in to fit your bike. Of course, it’s a PAKMULE product, so you can count on their patented anti-wobble hitch system to keep your bike stable on the back of your rig. Plus, the hitch includes a locking pin for added security.

Where the MOTOMULE really shines is the integrated ramp. It measures 64 inches long and slides out of the bottom of the tray. To appreciate how well it’s designed, you almost have to see it. If it wasn’t for the handle, you’d never know it was there. It’s low profile and easily slides under the tray, and the sturdy hinge makes sure you don’t have any surprises when loading your bike. This innovative moto hitch carrier allows you to transport your bike with confidence and peace of mind.

The MOTOMULE weighs in at 62 lbs., it cost $1,395, and is made in Texas. You can visit PAKMULE’s site to learn more, and if you’re attending Overland Expo Mountain West, you can stop by their booth and check out the MOTOMULE in person.
