Relax, Recharge & Rehydrate Under Shaded Bivvies at All Overland Expo Events

The second annual Overland Expo Mountain West 2022 is just days away — August 26-28 in Loveland, Colorado at The Ranch. The forecast for the weekend calls for temperature in the upper 80s. And under the sharp Colorado sun, it can feel even hotter.

To help attendees get a break from the sun, Overland Expo created shaded hang-out spaces that we are calling “Bivvies.” If you’ve never heard the word before, a bivvy is slang for a small tent or shelter. Fun, right? They’re a great place to rest in between our education classes and roundtable discussions and take a break from visiting all of our 290 registered exhibitors.

In these bivvies, which will be dispersed throughout the Overland Expo grounds, you’ll be able to relax in cool camp chairs provided by Kelty. While you’re there, you can also rehydrate with water stations and refill your water bottle or dog bowl.

More than just a place to take a seat, cool your heels (literally and figuratively), enjoy a brief respite from the sun, and recharge your devices with the provided charging stations. After all, it’s not just your feet that need a recharge — so too will your smart devices.

Finally, in each one of the Bivvies, you can get inspired with community discussions regarding overland travel in various parts of the world all weekend.

So, if you’ve been holding off on picking up your ticket for Overland Expo Mountain West 2022 because it might be too hot, wait no longer. The Bivvies offer a great opportunity to sit back, relax, and recharge midday or mid-weekend during any and all Overland Expo events.
