The tube doors first made their appearance on a number of the early Bronco concept vehicles. Then they were teased via the Bronco configurator shortly after the official launch. Ever since then, customers have been awaiting the arrival of this summer-focused accessory.

Ford Performance executives have confirmed the doors will be available at dealers by the end of the year, so Bronco owners can start gearing up for warm-weather adventures early.

The tube doors use the Bronco’s factory door latch and hinge, so installation, removal, and operation are a breeze. According to the Bronco configurator, the MSRP for the doors will be $850 for the two-door model and $1,360 for the four-door version. It’s worth noting that these prices haven’t been finalized.

The 2022 Ford Bronco will see a few other changes and additions moving into the new model year. The Ford Bronco Raptor, Bronco Everglades, and Bronco Heritage edition will be added to the stable of available trim levels. As we previously reported, the Bronco will also be available in two new colors, Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red Metallic.

Possibly one of the most highly anticipated additions to the Bronco lineup is the option to pair the Sasquatch Package with the available seven-speed manual transmission. At launch, the lack of this option left some customers wanting, but Ford heard their cries, and the dream of a stick shift Bronco riding on 35’s is now a reality.
