Vintage “chuck” boxes

Beggy family’s chuck box, still in service. Photo courtesy Ed Beggy (click on image to see full size). After we published the review of the Kanz Field Kitchen in the December Overland News, we heard from reviewer Roseann Hanson’s brother, Ed Beggy, that the family chuck box about which she waxed nostalgic was not only alive and well, but still in service. The photo Ed shared is from 2005, ready to head out camping in his 1982 FJ40.
