We brought you coverage of the release of the new Jeep Wagoneer last month and we are excited to begin seeing the first models hitting showroom floors this summer. A Jeep brand executive is as excited as we are about seeing Wagoneers at Overland Expo events this fall.

In an interview with Muscle Cars and Trucks, Jeep brand CEO Christian Meunier said, “I think on Wagoneer, …we’ll see overlanders, we’ll see all kinds of lift kits and tires and outdoorsy stuff. Crazy sh*t. We’ll see a lot of fun stuff on the Wagoneer, and we want to stimulate that.”
Like Meunier, we hope to see plenty of Wagoneers at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ in September and Overland Expo East in Arrington, VA in October. Meunier continued, “I think people are going to go nuts with it, and we want them to go nuts. That’s part of the culture. We’re talking and debating about having some aftermarket people come earlier to be ready to start working on their programs.”
I expect to see a few Mopar parts available for the Wagoneer leading up to the summer events and several aftermarket parts available through Overland Expo exhibitors as well.
