Bike Protection: Outback Motortek Crash Bars, Skid Plate and Pannier Racks

Outback Motortek crash bars for the Suzuki 800DE are simple and effective at what they do, which is to shield the main components of the bike – fairing, fuel tank, radiator and parts of the engine – protecting them from drops and tip overs. The bars are made of 25mm mild steel tube with 2mm wall thickness, resistant and absorbent to impact, dissipating the energy instead of transferring it to the frame.

MSRP: $350 (Crash Bars)

The skid plate protects a very long list of expensive components, making it a vital protective part for most off-road (and on-road) scenarios including debris, common drops and tip overs. Its true off-road and adventure shape without rectangular and sharp edges, is specifically designed to tackle and deflect most obstacles. Made with 4mm thick laser cut aluminium it’s lightweight, yet strong enough to withstand potential damage.

The Outback Motortek luggage racks for the Suzuki V-Strom 800 and 800DE are along the most universal and functional side pannier frames, allowing simple, flexible and secure mounting of both hard panniers and soft luggage. Constructed of mild steel, they’re robust enough to hold your luggage and to absorb impact if things go south! Additionally, they have standardised dimensions and a slightly asymmetrical design, which gives you the option of mounting a wide range of luggage options.

MSRP: $255 (Standard Pannier Racks)
