We are pleased to announce that overlanding legend Chris Scott will be one of our special guests in 2011, to present slide shows, workshops, and to celebrate the North American debut of his newest book (to be published early 2011), the Overlanders’ Handbook, a mammoth 600-page comprehensive manual to overlanding with cars, 4x4s and trucks in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Chris has explored deserts by bush taxis, 4x4s, Mercedes sedans and lately by camel, and he’s become a specialist and consultant on the area, frequently advising tour operators, ambitious expeditions and TV companies on the practicalities of travel in the Sahara. Other books include the Adventure Motorcycling Handbook and titles on the Sahara, Australia and Morocco.
