Over the years, Decked has collaborated with a number of companies such as SeaDek, Pathfinder Survival, and Uncharted Supply Company to provide gear tailored to fit the Decked drawer and truck toolbox systems. The company has expanded their line of collaborations with a new all-in-one tool kit co-designed with BoxoUSA. The new product provides 80 common tools needed for trailside repair and general maintenance designed to fit efficiently in the Decked system, though its compact design lends itself to storage in just about any off-road vehicle with four wheels.
The panoply of tools are packaged in a modestly sized outer duffel measuring roughly 19.7” x 13.6” x 6.8”. This duffel, made of a heavy duty Cordura nylon, unzips to lie flat providing easy access to the five removable tool bags as well as the tool roll lining the interior. Inside the tool bags one finds 19 of the larger tools such as dead blow and ball peen hammers, an extendable pry bar, a tire repair kit, and a cache of other tools that do not dimensionally lend themselves to being in a tool roll.
The tool roll itself is made of the same Cordura material as the outer duffel and includes an array of 61 tools neatly organized in the roll. Looking at the design of the roll, it’s clear that some of the organizational acumen Boxo toolboxes are known for has made its way into the design. Among its contents, you’ll find 10 of the most commonly needed 12-point combination wrenches along with their corresponding standard impact sockets, 16mm and 18mm impact sockets, three sizes of wheel impact sockets, 3/8″ and 1/2″ ratchets, a 1/2″ breaker bar, drive extensions and a laundry list of other tools.

As comprehensive as the kit is, people will invariably expand the kit with their own additions. For this, the designers have provided extra space in the internal tool bags as well as a molle webbing system on the outer bag’s exterior – a nice touch. It should be noted that the tool kit is metric only. Decked doesn’t offer an Imperial alternative for the dwindling number of vehicles on the SAE system.
