Founded back in 2021, at the Bronco Off-Roadeo experience center in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, the Ford Bronco Off-Roadeo Series provided owners with a complimentary course on off-roading, complete with hands-on instruction, guided courses, trail guides and basecamp facilities.
After a few years of the program’s existence, the experience has become so popular that in 2024 Ford decided it was time to launch an upgraded, overlanding-based version: Bronco Off-Road Adventures. For 2025, it gets even better: Bronco owners now have access to six new trails and unique trip experiences through the Bronco Off-Road Adventures program, running through Moab, Telluride, Death Valley and beyond.
Starting at $3,695, Bronco owners can explore the wilderness at “exclusive” locations with other Bronco owners and Ford’s staff of expert overlanding guides. During the trips, participants can practice skills including off-road navigation, wilderness self-reliance, and environmental stewardship. Alongside gaining valuable experience and knowledge, Bronco owners will also have access to breakfast, light snacks and dinner provided by Ford’s team (you’re on your own for lunch), as well as a suggested packing list, itinerary, and incredible routes through stunning natural terrain.
The six new additions to Ford’s trip offerings include: the Moab Red Rocks route, Rubicon Trail, Moab/ Telluride, Emigrant Trail, Allegheny Mountains and Death Valley.
Allegheny Mountains, Death Valley National Park and the Emigrant Trail Adventure all lean toward beginner and novice overlanders, while the Moab/Telluride route, Moab Red Rocks and the Rubicon Trail Adventure require being familiar with differential lockers, winches and lift kits and being able to navigate very challenging terrain.
The trips vary in their intensity, duration and capacity, so it’s important to check out every offering to see which will be the best fit for you and your Bronco or Bronco Sport. It’s also worth noting that space is limited on each trip, so if you’re a Bronco or Bronco Sport owner who’s interested in trying out overlanding, Ford style, you’ll want to book your spot sooner rather than later.
