Dakar Hybrid Bumper – CBI-Offroad

CBI Offroad Fab has been manufacturing high-quality offroading and overlanding equipment for more than ten years, focusing on superior quality and performance. Each part is designed, engineered, and built by an expert team in a state-of-the-art facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA.

The Toyota Tacoma Dakar Hybrid Bumper is an exceptional example of the reliable innovation available from CBI Offroad Fab. From conception to production, every detail has been considered to make this bumper extremely functional and high-performing in the toughest environments. Each design is tested extensively and used daily by a team of dedicated engineers and industry experts.

Specifically fitted for the third generation Toyota Tacoma (2016-2022), the Dakar Hybrid Bumper combines the strength of plate steel with the lightweight durability of DOM tubing. This creates a rugged appearance that looks tough and performs even better. By adding DOM tubing, the design retains strength and enhances protection for your lights and grill while reducing overall weight by 33% compared to full steel plate bumpers. This means better fuel efficiency and more distance with even greater confidence. With gas prices today, that makes a big difference on any adventure.

The design dramatically improves your rig’s approach angle, meaning much less skidding and scuffing with greater flexibility in taking on tough climbs. It also includes a recessed and hidden winch mounting point that is secure, along with very capable d-rings for recovery and rescue. Additionally, each bumper is equipped with mounting points for up to six light pods, along with an integrated mount for up to a 30-inch lightbar. You’ll be seeing everything in your path and driving with more capabilities, which adds to the comfort of any off-road trip.

This model gets its name from the Dakar Rally, one of the toughest rally races in the world, so you know it’s designed to take a beating instead of your truck. And you can choose from optional black powder coating to add protection or stick with bare metal to match your taste. While there is some cutting required on the factory body to install the bumper, installation is actually quick and simple with the right tools. Once installed, the bumper will not interfere with your vehicle’s factory cruise control sensor. The added strength, performance, and versatility in all terrains are well worth the time and investment in adding this awesome setup to your Tacoma.

So, what are you waiting for? Order yours today from CBI Offroad Fab. You’ll be just in time to beat the crowds as everyone tries to hit the trails this spring and summer.

Seat Jackers – Desert Does It

How comfortable are you in your rig?

Desert Does It knows what it feels like to drive uncomfortable – a road trip in a 2018 Toyota Tacoma inspired the solution for low seats that lacked thigh support. The stock seating position in most vehicles causes the weight of your legs to rest on your heels and, in many cases, causes back strain. When research into a NASA-inspired zero-gravity solution came up empty, it was obvious that they needed to come up with something themselves.

By simply adjusting the front end of the seat to provide an ideal rake of 18-22 degrees, the weight that would have rested on the heels and upper back is shifted to provide better lumbar support. This alleviates possible back stress and pressure without significantly impacting headroom. Even with power seats, Seat Jackers® provide additional adjustability to provide a more ergonomic position, and the difference is night and day – there are thousands of reviews that say the same. You have to feel the difference.

After feeling the difference in the driver’s seat, customers immediately asked for passenger and rear Seat Jackers. Our vertically-challenged customers install both front and rear Seat Jackers for a more commanding view. And, for those taller folks who struggle to feel like they fit in their vehicle rather than on it, Desert Does It designed Seat Slammers to securely lower the back end of the seat and provide a bit more headroom.

The primary reason for front and rear Seat Jackers was to provide a comfortable seating position that just wasn’t available in a stock Toyota, but with rising demand in all overland vehicles – Seat Jackers are custom designed for each vehicle. Now available for Ford, Ram, Jeep, Subaru, Nissan, and Toyota.

Seat Jackers are compatible with the Desert Does It Multi-Mount Molle Panels, so you can use that extra room to get a little more organized and maximize that under-seat storage space.

If you find yourself squirming and stretching, struggling to find that comfortable seating position during your road trip or commute, you have to try Seat Jackers.

Desert Does It products are designed, machined, and powder coated in Southern Utah with U.S. sourced 6061 aluminum and include factory grade or better hardware. All products are original designs, patented, trademarked, and made in the USA.

Base Camp Line – TruckVault

TruckVault designed the Base Camp Line with the goal of fitting an overlanding solution to a truck, so everything packs away securely and compact without adding bulk to the exterior of the vehicle. Built to fit within the footprint of a truck bed, the Base Camp Line features a pull-out camp kitchen, dual-duty cutting board and work surface, a sleeping platform, cubby storage, electrical outlets, and lockable drawer storage. Each Base Camp model is built-to-order with the customizations requested by TruckVault’s customers and to the specifications of the intended truck bed. Carpeted surfaces, including the interior of the drawers, allow for a quiet ride down the freeway or dirt roads, while included drawer dividers and additional foam insert options ensure gear stays organized and secure in transit. The electrical components connect to either the vehicle or an external power bank, so individuals can add light to their campsites.

Enjoyed by renowned outdoor chef Gerard Masih, the camp kitchen pull-out feature serves as a functional asset to any overlander. “The best thing about it is it’s a solid system,” said Gerard. “Everything’s convenient and in a nice place.”
