HJC Introduces the C80 Bult ADV Helmet

Korean helmet manufacturer HJC just dropped a new line of adventure helmets loaded with top-of-the-line features at a fairly affordable price.

The C80 has long been HJC’s most popular ADV helmet. In 2022, riders will see a new C80 variant called the C80 Bult, featuring new colorways and enhanced technical features that make this a great helmet for both novice and intermediate riders alike to protect their domes.

The low-profile, compact polycarbonate shell is lightweight without sacrificing safety and fit. The wrap-around face shield offers greater visibility and has UV-A & UV-B protection, which is great for summer rides. The integrated sun visor features an anti-fog and anti-scratch coating while blocking sunlight to help reduce eye strain. The HJC C80 Bult meets or exceeds all crash standards for helmets.

Optionally, you can add the SMART HJC 20B or 10B proprietary communication system, which was co-developed with SENA and made specifically for HJC helmets. This compact Bluetooth unit (sold separately) allows two-way communication with friends while you’re on the trail, while the design compliments the overall look and aerodynamics of the helmet.

The HJC C80 Bult is available in two colorway options, a white and grey digicam graphic with red and blue stripes (MC21SF,) or, my personal favorite, a black digicam graphic with red striping (MC7SF.)

HJC’s Supercool interior helps cooler heads prevail with moisture-wicking antibacterial fabric. The interior is removable for cleaning and drying purposes – perfect for those who tend to heavily sweat in their helmets. Who likes to put on a wet helmet? No thanks! The fabric interior also features grooves for the arms of your eyeglasses or sunglasses – a welcome addition to help avoid the pain of glasses being pushed against your temples. HJC’s Advanced Channeling Ventilation System (ACS) technology ensures great aerodynamics while providing air ventilation to cool your head on rides.

The HJC C80 Bult’s warranty is applicable to manufacturer’s defects for up to three years from the purchase date or five years from the date of manufacture – whichever comes first.
