Off-road trailer maker Lance Camper Manufacturing Corporation has moved its new Enduro Off-Road Trailer into the production phase, according to a press release from the company. The Enduro was first shown as a concept in 2021, and Lance said it is “specifically designed to appeal to the overlanding, off-road and boondocking demographic.”
The company is hardly new and has been producing trailers since the 1960s. They are owned by the publicly traded REV Group, which includes Holiday Rambler, Fleetwood, Renegade RV, and others, as well as a wide variety of first responder and specialty work vehicle makers. Still, the Enduro will be Lance’s first overlanding-specific offering, and they’ve come up with an interesting if not novel angular layout, which includes an angled rooftop tent for more sleeping space, interior wet bath with shower, 80×72-inch queen-plus bed size, interior dinette, and an exterior kitchen. A refrigerator is also standard.
Additional Lance Enduro features include a standard rooftop 190-Watt solar panel and optional external solar panel, two-burner cooktop, 1500-Watt power inverter, articulating hitch, spare tire, 40-gallon water tank, and 28-gallon grey tank. Buyers can opt for bike racks, water filtration, an awning, A/C, and firewood storage as well.
The frame of the Enduro is an all-new design and includes a long-travel Curt independent suspension for off-road towing. Once parked, campers can relax in optional forced-air A/C or heat. The solar panels charge gear and juice an internal battery. Lance says the dry weight will be under 3,300 pounds, and the Endura can be loaded with 1,115 pounds of gear.
