The Overland Expo East event this year just keeps getting better and better. Join OK4WD and Mountain State Overland on Friday night as they host a special evening of fun, fellowship, film, and free stuff. The event takes place in the Oasis Bar and Food Court, sponsored by Blue Compass RV/Airstream of Virginia, on Friday, October 3, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
As part of the evening, the team will be premiering a new feature film by Mountain State Overland showcasing highlights of their forthcoming video series “Hammer Down 6”. Following the premiere, there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers, where we can dive into your questions about their adventures, the process of creating the film, or anything else you’ve been wanting to ask.
Mixed into the evening will be a raffle where some attendees will be coming home with some pretty cool stuff.
Film: Hammer Down 6
Six years ago, we started our journey across the United States on the Transamerica Trail. The Transamerica Trail is a network of dirt and subsurface backroads, 4WD tracks and hidden gems that connect the eastern US with the West.
Our plan was atypical. Instead of driving the whole route in one stride we opted to break it up and travel as far as we could within a week – where we stopped is where we started each year. After 5 years on the road together, we’re starting this adventure in Utah and we’re aiming for the Idaho border.
