While the days at Overland Expo are packed with classes, round tables, amazing exhibitors, and more great rigs than you can count, the action doesn’t slow down after the sun goes down.
For starters, the Happy Hours are absolutely legendary. It’s a great time to grab a drink and some food from one of the food trucks and enjoy great times with live music.
On Thursday, May 16th, RAYS Wheels will sponsor the Welcome Happy Hour from 5-7 PM at the Oasis Bar & Food Court sponsored by Xplor. We’ll have live music, and this is your first chance to grab an Arizona Pinstripe IPA from Arizona Wilderness Brewing, the official beer sponsor for the weekend. This is a brand-new brew that’s debuting at Overland Expo, and we can’t wait to taste it. Then, on Friday night, the next Happy Hour, sponsored by Maxxis Tires, will have more live music. Then, just as the Happy Hour wraps up at 7 PM, the Rider Justice Moto Party and Dinner kicks off. Anyone who’s in the know will tell you this event is one of the most fun of all the things that go down at Overland Expo. Don’t forget this is an additional ticket, but it’s 100% worth it.
Friday night is also when some in-booth parties kick off. Toyota, located in Booth Q30, will be having one of their always-loved gatherings, and Firestone will be continuing the good times in Booth R6.
And, if that isn’t enough, Friday is also when the Film Festival, sponsored by GOAT BOXCO, rounds out the night. This is your chance to check out some great films from some of our favorite visual storytellers. We’ll take a deeper dive into what’s showing at the Film Festival as we get closer to Overland Expo West 2024.
Now, all of that just brings us to Saturday, May 18th. While it isn’t technically after-dark, Toyota is following up their in-booth party with a breakfast at 7:30 AM in the campground area. And, if you don’t make that breakfast, Firestone is hosting a brunch at Booth Q54 9-11 AM.

Fast forward to Saturday evening, and Barebones Living is bringing us our final Happy Hour of the weekend at the Oasis Bar and Food Court sponsored by Xplor. Of course, there will be more great music, food, and drinks here. As soon as the Happy Hour wraps up, we’re kicking off your chance to win some next-level prizes at the Overland Expo Foundation Raffle from 7-9 PM. You don’t want to miss out on the raffle. There’s a mountain of prizes up for grabs, and you can get your raffle tickets online or from the Overland Expo Foundation tent throughout the weekend.
And, of course, Saturday has even more in-booth parties. From 7-9 PM, you can make the rounds and check out all the good times. KC HiLiTES will be providing the good times at Booth A8, Honda will undoubtedly have great food and jams at Booth Q25, and Equipt will be keeping the party going in Booth Q37.
Now, that might seem like a lot, because it is. There’s something going on from 5 PM until 9 PM every night of Overland Expo. Don’t forget that these great food trucks are available at four locations around the event all weekend long. Plus, Launch and Learns happen each day from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Oasis Bar and Food Court sponsored by Xplor.
